A caring mentoring connection can transform a child’s life and inspire a successful future. Research from the Gates Foundation has shown that youth with all types and levels of risk have benefitted from mentorship, particularly in reducing depression later in life (Role of Risk, 2013).

Details:

1 hour a week

Mentoring may occur either in-person or online

Mentors must submit an application

Mentors must attend an interview

Mentors must pass a background check

Mentors must receive training
